In Canada, this product is regulated under the Gov’t of Canada Food and Drug Act and does not require a SDS to be transmitted. This product does not meet the criteria to be included in a hazard class under WHMIS 2015 Global Harmonized System (GHS) nor a category under the Hazardous Products Act or Regulations (HPA/HPR). Therefore, a SDS cannot be created.
In the U.S., this product is regulated under regulations of the Food, Drug & Cosmetic Act. It is not a hazardous substance as that term is defined by the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard, 29 CFR §1910.1200 and SDS’s are not required for this type of product. You are not required to obtain and provide employees with a Safety Data Sheet for this product.
